- 0.9 Miles
View to the Northeast at the Eastern End of Hog Heaven Trail
Hiking East on the Hog Heaven Trail starting at the junction with
the Hog Wash Trail. The Hog Heaven Trail affords excellent views and there
are numerous rock formations which the hiker transverses. The trail is
moderate to severe in difficulty and has areas where the trail is next to
drop offs. The trail ends by after 0.9 miles at the junction of the Twin
Butte Trail and High On The Hog Trail. Shown in the lo-wer
left margin is a warning sign for bikers and equestrians.
If you are a dirt
bike rider the trail must be taken from the direction from the junction
of the Twin Butte Tral and High on the Hog Tral to the Hog Wash Trail (biking
South to North). The hike discribed in this page is in the opposite direction.
In
addition, traveling east on this trail carries a warning for
hikers since bikers travel in the opposet direction and there are
several blind curves.
